New York magazine has a great story about how Topshop is taking delivery more seriously than Amazon.com.
They’re now offering a Topshop Express delivery service.
And the results are impressive.
Topshop Express, which is launching this weekend, will be a cheaper alternative to Amazon’s Express service, but it’ll still deliver items to all of the major U.S. cities, including New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, and Washington, DC.
There’s still a big gap between Amazon and Topshop when it comes to delivery, but Topshop will definitely be able to do better than Amazon if it’s willing to put in the time.
The Topshop blog describes the new service as an “end-to-end” solution.
Topshop says it’ll take two hours to deliver to a customer’s door, and it will arrive within three business days.
The delivery option is a great one for customers, who may be hesitant to spend hours getting to a destination, Topshop’s website notes.
But for other customers, like the folks who buy things on Amazon, it could be a welcome addition to their shopping experience.

If you’re new to Amazon, you’ll need to sign up for a Prime membership before you can order online.
The free Prime membership is a big upgrade from Amazon’s traditional delivery service, which can cost up to $99 a year.
That’s a lot of money for a service that doesn’t deliver anything to your door.
But Topshop promises the delivery service will be cheaper than other delivery services.
Topshops new Amazon Express delivery plan Amazon says the new Topshop service will offer more options for the delivery customer than its Amazon Prime membership.
The new Topshos delivery plan will give customers more choice in what they can buy and how much they pay for.
The plan will be available in the coming weeks.
For now, Topshots new delivery plan is only available in select cities in the U.K., Canada, Australia, and Germany.
