We have been tracking orders for the last two days with Express tracking.
Here is what we saw.
First up, we have a customer in Delhi who bought an entire curry package for Rs 5,000 (Rs 8,000 with GST).
We know this is not his full order, but he did not specify where he got it from.
This was a package that was already on sale.
This customer was in a hurry, and had just got off work.
He had a couple of days to spare.
It took him about 3-4 hours to reach his doorstep.
He paid the full price with cash.
His order is a Rs 4,000 package.
We can see that this customer is not alone.
A similar order with Rs 2,000 and GST was also on sale, and he paid a bit more than the $5,000 mark.
This customer, though, paid a very high price.
The package was on sale for about Rs 3,000 when the customer got off at the train station.
This is the full order.
The customer’s next order was a Rs 3-5,400 package for Delhi.
This included a package of Rs 4-5K which is priced at Rs 3.50 per kilo.
The customer was very impatient and had to wait for almost 3 hours.
This package was sold for Rs 2.80 per kg, and the package was then placed in the Express delivery box.
We do not have the exact exact order number.
But the customer paid a hefty price for the package, so we have no reason to believe this is the exact amount.
We are confident this customer was on the right track and was able to buy the correct item.
However, this customer did not make it to the destination.
He also did not buy a Rs 1-2,000 delivery order.
The order was for a Rs 5-6,000 parcel of curry.
This parcel was sent to him by Express.
We are still awaiting an order confirmation from the customer, and we are not able to confirm whether he got his curry package.
However the delivery company did not let us down.
In a video message posted on Twitter, the courier company stated that the customer was still waiting for his parcel and that they were ready to ship it within 10 days.
The courier company has since issued a statement saying that they are working on a solution.
We have seen this exact same customer before.
He used to buy curry packages in India every week and the next day they would arrive.
But when he got back home, he would spend the night at home before making his way to work.
If we do not see any delivery service soon, we will be waiting for him to come to our doorstep.
