Air India has started rolling out a new air courier delivery service in the city.
The company will begin providing direct air delivery of its own products and services in Pahala Express, a 50-kilometre express delivery route that runs from Pahal to Mumbai, on August 14.
PahalaExpress, which has been in business since the early 1990s, has more than 100 delivery trucks.
It will also begin providing online ordering for all products and service.
The company has been running its service for the last four years.
Air India has been trying to improve its services over the years.
For instance, it has increased its fuel prices and added more security measures to its network, such as metal detectors.
